A deliciously simple appetizer combining savory sausage with creamy cheese, wrapped in flaky crescent dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cooked sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet.
  4. Place a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wider end of each triangle of dough.
  5. Roll the dough up, starting at the wide end and rolling to the point.
  6. Place the rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.
