  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 8 pounds)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple slices
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • Ground cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the honey, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to create the glaze.
  3. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and place it in a roasting pan.
  4. Brush the glaze over the ham.
  5. Arrange the pineapple slices over the ham, securing them with toothpicks if desired.
  6. Pour the pineapple juice into the bottom of the roasting pan.
  7. Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for about 90 to 120 minutes, basting the ham every 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  9. Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
