Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, basil, and oregano.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Mix the softened cream cheese with chicken broth and minced garlic in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and coated in the sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs instead of dried. If you want a bit of heat, add red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
