A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake layers with spiced apples and a crumbly oat topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 cups chopped apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Mix chopped apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Spread this mixture evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Combine oats, flour, and baking powder; sprinkle over the apple layer.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.
  8. Let cool before removing from the springform pan. Refrigerate before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, with caramel sauce or whipped cream for extra sweetness.
