White Chicken Lasagna

A simplified version of creamy white chicken lasagna, perfect for family gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 cups white sauce (Alfredo or béchamel)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Combine the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread a thin layer of white sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Add half of the chicken mixture, half of the spinach, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers, finishing with a top layer of noodles.
  8. Spread the remaining white sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  11. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing unbaked lasagna is an option too.
