A luscious blend of dark chocolate and fresh strawberry puree, perfect for cakes, cupcakes, or indulging with a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Let it sit for a few minutes to melt.
  3. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  4. Add the strawberry puree, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  6. Once cooled, use a hand mixer to whip the ganache until light and fluffy.
  7. Use as a filling between cake layers, inside cupcakes, or as frosting for desserts.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Re-whip before using.
