Deliciously crispy egg rolls filled with tender chicken and creamy cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Cooked chicken (shredded)
  • Cream cheese
  • Green onion (chopped)
  • Garlic powder
  • Hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing together the shredded chicken, cream cheese, chopped green onion, garlic powder, hot sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Assemble the egg roll by placing a spoonful of the filling in the center of an egg roll wrapper.
  3. Fold the wrapper according to package instructions, sealing the edges with water.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until hot enough to fry.
  5. Fry the prepared egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain the excess oil on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with extra hot sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Allow sealed egg rolls to rest for 10 minutes before frying for best results. Oil temperature should be around 350°F (175°C) for perfect frying.
