A delightful dish featuring soft-boiled eggs on a bed of creamy yogurt, drizzled with fragrant red pepper oil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil and chill the eggs by bringing water to a gentle boil, adding the eggs, and cooking for 6-7 minutes. Transfer them to a bowl of cold water.
  2. Prepare the yogurt mixture by mixing yogurt with minced garlic and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  3. Sauté the red pepper flakes in heated olive oil over medium heat for a minute, then remove from heat.
  4. Assemble the dish by peeling the eggs and placing them on a serving plate over the yogurt mixture.
  5. Drizzle the hot pepper oil over the eggs and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For creamier yogurt, use full-fat or Greek yogurt. Adjust red pepper flakes according to your spice preference.
