Delicious and healthy Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers filled with a savory turkey mixture and wholesome ingredients, perfect for any meal.

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant.
  4. Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spoon the turkey mixture into each bell pepper.
  7. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Uncover, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for another 10 minutes.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
