A stunning dessert featuring rich layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse, perfect for chocolate lovers and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 200g white chocolate
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 6 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Let cool slightly.
  2. Whip 1 cup of cream in another bowl until soft peaks form. Fold in the melted dark chocolate.
  3. Beat the egg yolks with 1/4 cup sugar in a separate bowl until light and fluffy. Fold into the chocolate mixture.
  4. Beat egg whites and salt in another bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Pour the mousse into a cake pan and refrigerate until set.
  6. Repeat the steps for the milk chocolate and white chocolate layers, letting each layer set in the fridge.
  7. Remove from the pan and garnish with chocolate shavings.

Notes

Allow each chocolate layer to cool before adding the next for better structure. Use high-quality chocolate for enhanced flavor.
