A delicious fusion of fudgy brownies and creamy, coffee-infused tiramisu that’s simply irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup ladyfingers
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix the brown butter and sugar together until fully combined.
  3. Add the eggs into the mixture one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into your wet mixture carefully.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into your prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  8. Soak the ladyfingers in cooled espresso while the brownies cool.
  9. Whip the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  10. Layer the soaked ladyfingers on top of the brownies and spread the mascarpone cream over them.
  11. Refrigerate the entire assembly for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
