A warm, cheesy dip perfect for gatherings, featuring a creamy base of refried beans, cream cheese, and layered with Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (16 ounces each) refried beans
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, refried beans, taco seasoning, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Layer the Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses on top of the bean mixture.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve with tortilla chips or dippers.

Notes

For added heat, consider mixing in diced jalapeños or crushed red pepper. This dip can also be made in a slow cooker.
