  • 32 oz fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 package of instant vanilla pudding (6 servings)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 16 oz pound cake, cubed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and slice strawberries, toss with sugar, and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the Pudding and Whipped Topping: Prepare pudding according to package, then fold in Cool Whip.
  3. Strain the Strawberry Syrup: Strain the syrup into a container for drizzling.
  4. Begin Layering the Trifle: In a trifle bowl, layer 1/3 of the pound cake, drizzling with 1/3 of syrup, then 1/3 of pudding, and top with 2/5 strawberries.
  5. Repeat the Layers: Continue layering until ingredients are used up.
  6. Chill Before Serving: Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
