A delightful layered dessert featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and sweet strawberry gelatin.

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar.
  2. Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish. Bake for 10 minutes until golden.
  3. Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  4. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water, stirring until fully combined, then stir in the sliced strawberries.
  5. Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm before serving.

Notes

For best results, chill overnight for enhanced flavor. You can also use gluten-free pretzels and adjust the flavors with different fruits or gelatins.
