A light and fluffy dessert made with fresh strawberries, cream, and egg whites, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the strawberries with sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream, then fold in the beaten egg whites.
  5. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries or whipped cream. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
