  • 1 box of strawberry cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of strawberry frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
  2. Combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, oil, and water in a large bowl; mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. Mix crushed vanilla wafers with melted butter in another bowl.
  7. Frost the cooled cake with strawberry frosting, then sprinkle the wafer mixture on top.
