Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup vanilla bean cream (or vanilla pudding)
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and egg together.
  3. Create the Dough: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead until a soft dough forms.
  4. Let the Dough Rise: Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll Out the Dough: Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick, and spread the vanilla cream over the surface.
  6. Create the Rolls: Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into even rolls.
  7. Shape the Rolls: Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake to Perfection: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Dust and Serve: Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serve warm.
