A delightful fusion of waffles and cheesecake, stuffed with a luscious cream cheese filling and fresh strawberries.

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl, then stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth, then fold in the diced strawberries.
  6. Pour a ladle of waffle batter onto the preheated waffle iron, add spoonfuls of the cheesecake filling, and cover with more batter.
  7. Remove the waffles from the iron when golden brown and serve warm.
