Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  3. Prepare the cheesecake filling by beating softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then fold in the diced strawberries.
  4. Fill the preheated waffle iron with a scoop of waffle batter, add a spoonful of cheesecake filling in the center, and cover with more batter.
  5. Cook until golden brown and crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with strawberry syrup and dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Feel free to customize the filling with other fruits or chocolate chips.
