A delightful dessert combining rich cheesecake with fresh strawberries, perfect for celebrations or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of strawberry puree (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth in a large mixing bowl. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  6. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until set and slightly jiggly in the center.
  7. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Top with sour cream and fresh strawberries, or drizzle with strawberry puree if desired before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
