A classic comfort food pairing of juicy steak and crispy roasted potatoes, perfect for any dinner occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges. Toss them with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the wedges evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and tender, flipping halfway through.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and season the steaks with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  6. Plate the steaks alongside the roasted potatoes and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Pair with a green salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in separate airtight containers for up to three days.
