Delicious Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars that combine the creaminess of cheesecake with the flakiness of sopapillas, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread this mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the top and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or cold; can be paired with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra sweetness. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
