Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 envelope ranch dressing mix
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup baby carrots (or chopped carrots)
  • 4 medium potatoes (cut into chunks)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients—make sure your beef is thawed, wash and chop your potatoes, and prepare your carrots.
  2. Season the Meat: Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the beef roast.
  3. Combine the Envelopes: Mix the ranch dressing mix, onion soup mix, and brown gravy mix in a small bowl.
  4. Arrange in the Slow Cooker: Place the seasoned beef at the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle the envelope mix evenly over it.
  5. Add Veggies and Water: Toss in the baby carrots and potato chunks, then pour in 4 cups of water.
  6. Slow Cook to Perfection: Cover and set the slow cooker to low for about 8 hours.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: After 8 hours, check the tenderness of the roast and serve warm with gravy.

Notes
