  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade: In a slow cooker, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken: Add the chicken breasts and ensure they are well coated with the marinade.

  4. Cook it low and slow: Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes (6-8 hours) or on high for 180-240 minutes (3-4 hours), until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
