A simple and delicious skillet brownie, featuring crispy edges and a gooey center, perfect for sharing and enjoying warm.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (mixed types: dark, milk, and white)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter in a large bowl.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased skillet and spread it out evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

For a more cake-like texture, bake a little longer. For ultra-fudgy brownies, remove when edges are firm.
