Delightful little pie bombs filled with spiced apple and caramel, wrapped in flaky pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped apples with cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture and a drizzle of caramel sauce onto each circle.
  5. Fold the circles over and seal the edges using a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Bake from frozen if prepared ahead of time.
