Delicious meat pies filled with seasoned ground beef and onions, wrapped in flaky pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of flaky pastry dough
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef and diced onion until browned and translucent.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roll out the pastry dough on a floured surface and cut into circles.
  5. Fill each circle with a spoonful of the meat mixture.
  6. Seal the edges to create a half-moon shape.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
