Easy and quick Rice Krispie treats that evoke childhood memories with a delicious blend of gooey marshmallow and crunchy cereal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Incorporate the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Mix in the Rice Krispies cereal, folding it into the melted marshmallow mixture.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  5. Let cool for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares.

Notes

Grease the pan well and ensure your hands are buttered when pressing the mixture for easy handling. You can experiment with different flavors by adding chocolate or nut butter.
