A refreshing and fruity raspberry sorbet, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool.
  3. Blend the raspberries until smooth. Strain the puree through a sieve to remove the seeds.
  4. In a bowl, combine the raspberry puree, syrup, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  6. Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze it until firm.

Notes

Serve with fresh mint leaves or whole raspberries for garnish. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for 2 to 3 weeks.
