Charming heart-shaped danishes filled with sweet raspberry filling, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup raspberry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into heart shapes.
  3. Place the heart shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spoon a small amount of raspberry pie filling onto the center of each heart.
  5. Fold the edges slightly over the filling to create a border.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the pastry for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or up to 5 days in the fridge.
