Delightful heart-shaped pastries filled with sweet-tart raspberry filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup raspberry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface, extending it to about 1/8 inch in thickness.
  3. Cut heart shapes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
  4. Add a spoonful of raspberry pie filling to the center of each heart.
  5. Seal the edges over the filling and pinch them together.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden sheen.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar and optionally pair with whipped cream or ice cream.
