Delightful heart-shaped pastries filled with raspberry pie filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 cup raspberry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Arrange half of the heart shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spoon a dab of raspberry filling onto each pastry heart.
  5. Seal with remaining heart shapes and press edges to seal.
  6. Apply the egg wash on top of each pastry.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Add powdered sugar for final touches once cooled.

Notes

Use cold puff pastry for better puffing. Don’t overfill to avoid messy spills.
