Delightful pastries combining sweet and tangy flavors with a creamy filling, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square and top with raspberries.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a Danish shape.
  6. Mix the egg and milk together to make an egg wash and brush it over the pastries.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Dust with extra powdered sugar before serving for a sweet touch. Great with coffee or tea.
