A simple and delicious lasagna recipe that brings the essence of Italian comfort food into your home with just five ingredients.

  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Layer the Base: Spoon a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Place three uncooked lasagna noodles over the marinara sauce, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  4. Mix the ricotta cheese until creamy, then spread half over the noodles.
  5. Sprinkle with a third of the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta.
  6. Repeat the layering process with another layer of marinara sauce, three more noodles, the remaining ricotta, and another third of mozzarella.
  7. Finish with the last three noodles, pour remaining marinara sauce over the top, and sprinkle with leftover mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Let the lasagna rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
