Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (12 oz) can of evaporated milk
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the evaporated milk until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Fill the unbaked pie crust with the pumpkin filling.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes.
  7. Cool the pie before serving.
