These Goat Cheese & Prosciutto Bonbons are a gourmet treat that combine creamy goat cheese, savory prosciutto, and a hint of honey, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 handful microgreens

Instructions

  1. Combine the cheese mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the goat cheese, cream cheese, lemon zest, chopped chives, and freshly ground black pepper; mix until smooth and uniform.
  2. Portion the cheese: Using a small spoon or melon baller, portion the cheese mixture into eight equal balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Wrap each bonbon: Wrap each cheese ball with one slice of prosciutto, tucking the ends underneath to secure the bonbon.
  4. Assemble and drizzle: Arrange the wrapped bonbons on a serving plate and drizzle honey evenly over the top.
  5. Chill the bonbons: Refrigerate the bonbons for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before serving.
  6. Garnish: Just before serving, top each bonbon with a few microgreens for a fresh garnish.

Notes

If goat cheese isn’t your favorite, substitute with feta or herbed cream cheese. Use high-quality prosciutto for the best flavor. Don’t skip the chilling step to ensure the bonbons hold their shape.
