Delicious grilled cheese sandwiches with a pizza twist, featuring melted cheese, pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • Cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Pizza sauce (enough to spread)
  • Pepperoni or other pizza toppings (optional)
  • Butter (for spreading)

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer cheese on top of the bread followed by pizza sauce and optional toppings.
  5. Add the second slice of bread on top, with the buttered side facing up.
  6. Cook until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Pairs well with a side salad, potato chips, or marinara for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
