A fun twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich with melted mozzarella, pepperoni, and rich pizza flavors.

Ingredients

  • Bread (sourdough or white)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Butter
  • Pizza sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top.
  5. Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes more.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve with pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a healthier option, add veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms. Experiment with different types of cheese for extra flavor.
