A creamy and indulgent frosting made with mascarpone cheese and ground pistachios, perfect for decorating cakes or cupcakes.

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely ground pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl, whisking until smooth.
  2. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Mix in the finely ground pistachios, vanilla extract, and salt, stirring until well mixed.
  5. Frost cakes or cupcakes immediately or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes for a thicker consistency.
