A creamy and luxurious frosting combining mascarpone cheese and rich pistachios, perfect for elevating baked goods.

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened butter and mascarpone cheese together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pistachios.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add milk a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Use the frosting to decorate cakes or cupcakes as desired.

Notes

Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature before reusing.
