A delightful pastry with layers of flaky goodness filled with creamy pistachio and drizzled with caramel sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup pistachio cream
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut into squares, about 4 inches each.
  3. Place a generous spoonful of pistachio cream in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the corners of the pastry over the pistachio cream to create a swirl shape.
  5. Brush the tops of the pastries with beaten egg for a golden color.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce once cooled slightly.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with coffee or tea. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
