An exciting twist on the classic Brazilian brigadeiro, featuring the rich flavor of roasted pistachios wrapped in creamy condensed milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 cup roasted pistachios (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Additional chopped pistachios for coating
  • Pistachio paste or glaze (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Combine the condensed milk, chopped roasted pistachios, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Scoop out small portions to roll into balls once cool enough to handle.
  4. Roll the brigadeiros in additional chopped pistachios.
  5. Drizzle with pistachio glaze if desired.
  6. Let them set at room temperature or in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for a month. For best texture, let come to room temperature before serving.
