A delicious and creamy dish combining crispy bacon, sweet peas, and rich Parmesan cheese, perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup sweet peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and let it drain on paper towels, then crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese, mixing well.
  5. Add the crumbled bacon, season with salt and pepper to taste, and toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes
