A delightful twist on breakfast, this Peanut Butter Waffle Cake combines fluffy waffles and rich peanut butter cream for a special treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients in a large bowl until nicely combined.
  2. Prepare the wet ingredients by beating the eggs and mixing in the milk and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, folding gently to avoid over-mixing.
  4. Heat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Create the peanut butter cream by whipping heavy cream and powdered sugar, then folding in peanut butter.
  6. Cook the waffles in the preheated maker until golden brown.
  7. Stack the waffles with layers of peanut butter cream in between.
  8. Drizzle melted chocolate over the assembled cake, slice, and enjoy.
