  • 2 cups sliced peaches
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the sliced peaches with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the pre-made pie crust on a baking sheet for easy cleanup.
  4. Arrange the peach mixture in the center of the crust, leaving a 2-inch border all around.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the filling, creating a pleated look.
  6. Brush the mixture of egg and milk over the crust for a shiny finish.
  7. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Allow the galette to cool before serving. Enjoy!
