A delightful dessert combining fresh peaches with a crunchy topping, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and stir. Spread the peaches in a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix together the flour, oats, remaining sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping over the peaches.
  6. Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and the peaches are bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes

Best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Pairs well with coffee or tea.
