A delightful peach cobbler dessert that combines juicy peaches with a soft, cake-like topping. Perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 6 cups sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread the mixture in a greased baking dish.
  3. Combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter over the peaches in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
