A simple and delicious peach cobbler that captures the essence of summer with juicy peaches and a golden, cake-like topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix the flour, the remaining sugar, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. Add the peach mixture over the batter.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
  7. Serve warm.
