A delightful peach cobbler recipe that blends luscious peaches with a buttery, golden crust, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and set aside.
  3. Mix together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, then spoon the peaches and their juices over the batter.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
