A delicate Pavlova dessert with a crisp meringue shell, topped with whipped cream and seasonal mixed berries.

Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whip the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add granulated sugar, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  4. Add vanilla extract and white vinegar to the mixture, mixing gently.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the baking sheet, shaping it into a round about 8 inches in diameter.
  6. Bake the meringue for 1 hour, then let it cool inside the oven.
  7. Beat the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  8. Top the cooled meringue with whipped cream and decorate with mixed berries.

Notes

Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for easier whipping. Store leftover meringue in an airtight container at room temperature.
